The café is divided into a gift shop/eating area, and behind a magical closet a room full of cats, for a separate fee. I'm not sure whether the eating and cating areas are separated due to sanitary laws or the decision of the management, but as a result you could just come for the pun-laden coffee (americato, etc). The cats are prettier than on Liteyniy, but not particularly friendly. I was bitten half a dozen times. In busy periods, entry into the cat area is by reservation only

WE LOVE THIS CAT CAFE! we've been to several cat cafes all over Europe but this one was the best. It's common to buy a ticket in advance and the price was OK. We didn't go there because of the cakes or coffee, but because of the cats and were not disappointed. You enter the cats room through a closet which makes you feel like entering Narnia. There were 19 cats and the all looked in a good condition, some had blemish tho (like one cat had gastritis). The cats have opportunities to avoid visitors and you get clear rules of what you are allowed to do and what not, like in any other Cafe. The friendly young man who worked there gave us so much information about the cats, where they came from, why they have their names (one cat is called Ernest Hemingway for example) and we stayed the whole 60minutes. I can totally recommend going there️️️️

Our guide in the Republic (the lady) was really kind and gave us an interesting tour and facts. Also the cats are very worth seeing and they have good accommodation. There are although some things to fix: - the location is pretty small, with 15 people it was already crowded - the manager was really unpleasant, told us to go in 40 minutes time (the visit should be 60 minutes) and he spoke only russian.

One of my favorite places in the city! There are 2 separate spaces: one where the cats live and the cafe where you can get a tea/coffee/cake. When you come for the first time, you get the coupon for tea/coffee/berry drink and every hour you can enter the cat space to play with the cats. There are a lot of different breeds to meet! Every day at 11:30 and 21:30 it's feeding time.

Amazing! Beautiful! Must visit! Pet a lot of cute and loveable cats! Some of the cats are pensioners that used to work in the Ermitage:)
